Social networks have sucked in nearly 82% of the world’s online population! They are all missing out on life as they “socialize” in front of a screen on a computer, tablet, or phone – right??
Not all social networking is purely virtual, however. Yep, that is correct. Although many websites have tried to replace the human social interaction, I’m here to tell you, it can’t. Some groups have added Meetups or Tweetups to their groups…but there are many functions still missing.
Google has recognized many of the deficiencies and has built a true social network. Many of you may have heard of it, but probably haven’t taken advantage of the vast tools it harnesses.
On November 28th from 5:30-7:30 pm, Kansas City Networking with Josh Wendel and Chris Dowell will be hosting a HIRL (Hangout In Real Life) event. The event will be adding the real life social and network ingredients to the fastest growing social media tool in the world: Google Plus.
Unlike any event you have been to in Kansas City, this HIRL event will bring together the most talented and well connected Google Plus Masters. We have asked these masters to share some valuable golden nuggets of information with our guest at this HIRL event.
During the event we will breakout in smaller intimate groups, where the G+ masters will share their gold nuggets of information with you!
All we ask for you is for you to bring around 100 business cards, an empty stomach (we’re serving some mighty fine appetizers), and a small donation (either 5 can goods or $5) to benefit SAFEHOME.
Feel free to bring a digital device like a laptop, tablet or smartphone. We’ve tested out the Wi-Fi and it works great – all of the major carriers including AT&T, Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile work great!
